Our Mission
We believe in the inherent worth of all people, and we seek to restore their dignity and ability to provide for themselves and their families through education, vocational skills training and micro-enterprise loans to start or develop small businesses.

We believe in the biblical mandate to care for widows, orphans and the poor, which includes providing for basic needs such as food, clothing, shelter and medical care.

We believe in the biblical mission of the church worldwide, therefore we support pastors and their congregations in their ministry and church infrastructure needs.
Within this framework of practical support, we believe the message of hope through Jesus Christ to all people is more clearly conveyed.
Widow Support
Widows throughout India face many challenges. A high percentage are uneducated and illiterate, severely limiting the kind of work they can do to support themselves and their children. Due to their inability to buy proper food and access regular medical care, they often face debilitating health issues and lack the physical stamina to do many manual labor jobs or to retain employment when faced with illness. If they are not able to support their children and there are no relatives to take them in, their children become orphaned. These orphans have even fewer opportunities, creating a cycle of generational poverty. As the poorest of the poor, widows are often overlooked by society, relegated to living on the margins. Hope Givers United “sees” these women that others often fail to see, providing support for food, clothing, shelter, medical care, literacy training and micro-enterprise opportunities as needed.

Sustaining lives through love in action
Orphan Support
Orphans and “semi-orphans” are terms used by our ministry partners in India to refer to children who have lost one or both parents as well as children whose living parents are unable or unwilling to care for them. Children are left without support for many reasons. For those who have lost one or both parents there may be no other relatives able or willing to help provide for them or take them in. For others, the primary wage earner has abandoned the family and the remaining parent cannot support the children. Still others have lost the benefit of the primary wage earner due to addictions or chronic illness. As we support orphans through our ministry partners, we focus on supplying funds so they have ample food, clothing and medical care and ensure that they are able to continue to get a good education.

A strong foundation for future lives
Education
Hope Givers United understands that sustainable success begins with accessible knowledge. Through dedicated financial support for education, we help equip children with the essential tools required to master challenging subjects, establish strong civic awareness, and prepare them for successful careers. Our commitment is a long-term investment in developing informed minds capable of driving meaningful and lasting societal progress.

Building Community and Creating Foundations
Hope Givers United focuses on laying foundations that create immediate and lasting security. We fund essential construction projects that transition vulnerable widows and orphans out of precarious living conditions—whether it's completing a communal home where they can build a new community or constructing a permanent residence to restore stability after a disaster. Our projects are not just buildings; they are physical sanctuaries designed to protect the bereaved and provide a stable future.

Building hope, brick by brick
Our Vision for Future Growth
Micro-Enterprise
Our future plans are to find and develop sustainable industries that are in demand within the culture and individual communities. This will allow adults to provide for themselves and their families and will raise the standard of living for entire communities. We will not only supply the means for adults to get set up in a small business of their own but will also equip them with the training they need to succeed.
